ART TO HEART

In support of the global campaign "Say yes to children" and the schools second anniversary the invited all students, parents and staff to contribute a drawing for the school-wide art exhibition "Art to Heart" . The request has received immense support.

The objectives of the exhibition were to bring the whole school community together, to share in the " Say yes to children " campaign, to give opportunities for students with varying abilities to show their talents and to request the public to buy these expressions and display them in their homes or work place. A final objective is to raise money to buy educational equipment to the school.

The Art to Heart exhibition was inaugurated by Madam Aminath Nasheeda on 7th June 2001 at 1715hrs.

The drawings were divided into six categories namely, collage, oil colour, water colour, black and white , computer art and mixed medium.

The drawings will be on display and for sale in the school hall from June 7th 1800 hrs - 0000 hrs and on June 8th from 1600hrs - 2200hrs.

The first 3 drawings from each category will be given prizes. Staff category was judged separately.
